The Hiring Receipt

Proof of a fair hire that anyone can verify.

Every closed role can publish a signed, tamper-evident Receipt: how many applied, time to hire, the scoring rubric, and the process controls that were in force.

What the Receipt shows

  • Total applicants
  • Time to hire
  • Salary paid or salary range, where disclosed
  • Scoring rubric and cohort scoring summaries
  • SLA compliance
  • Feedback delivery rate
  • Rejection reason distribution, where available
  • Demographic breakdowns only where candidates consented and k-anonymity is met
  • Suppressed fields where the cohort is too small
  • Opted-out fields: demographics, rubric, salary, time to hire, rejection reasons, SLA, feedback
  • Generation date, receipt token, and signature status

Why it matters

A Hiring Receipt is not a slide in a board pack. It is a public, signed record that can be verified without a Plumb login. It lives on verify.hireplumb.org, so it still works when a charity uses its own careers domain or changes website supplier.
